MSM - Methylsulfonylmethane Tablets Enhanced with Vitamin C and Niacin
Main ingredients for 2 tablets: Opti-Msm 2000 mg, Vitamin C 200 mg, Niacin 18 mg
Component Properties:
– Methyl-sulfonyl-methane: is an organosulfur compound, a source of sulfur with high bioavailability.
– Niacin (nicotinamide): contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and the maintenance of normal skin.
– Vitamin C: contributes to the function of the immune system during and after intense physical effort, to the formation of collagen for the function of blood vessels and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Directions for use: 2 tablets per day with water.
MSM Properties and Effectiveness
The food supplement MSM - Methylsulfonylmethane or " methyl sulfonyl methane " - is a natural source of Organic Sulphur. Organic Sulfur is an essential component of living cells and represents the fourth most abundant element in the human organism in terms of weight, comparable to potassium and slightly more abundant than sodium and chlorine.
In an adult weighing approximately 70 kg there are 140 grams of dietary sulphur . Organic sulfur is present in particularly high concentrations in the joints , where it participates in the production of chondroitin sulphate, glucosamines and hyaluronic acid.
It plays an important role in maintaining the stability and integrity of connective tissue and proteins.
Some studies, in subjects suffering from mild osteoarthritis of the knee, indicate that MSM promotes pain reduction and leads to an improvement in joint function with reduction of swelling.
MSM: Hair, Nails and Cartilage
