What is Colloidal Zinc, Properties and Efficacy
Present in every cell of the body, Zinc is one of the basic elements of over 200 enzymes and is therefore the mineral that more than others affects the greatest number of enzymatic reactions.
Also required for the proper activity of many hormones, including thymic hormones, insulin, growth hormone, and sex hormones.
65% of the zinc present in the body is found in the muscles and is concentrated in particular in the red and white blood cells.
Other organs with high zinc content include bones, skin, kidneys, liver, pancreas, retina and prostate.
Zinc deficiency problems and symptoms
Severe zinc deficiencies are characterized by skin changes, diarrhea, hair loss, mental disorders, and recurrent infections due to weakened immune function.
Other clinical conditions associated with zinc deficiency are: Proneness to infections, sleep disturbances, poor appetite, growth retardation, decreased sense of smell and taste, impotence, infertility, acne, abnormal menstruation, dandruff and hair loss as well as rheumatoid arthritis.
Food sources of Zinc are: shellfish, fish, red meat, oysters, seeds, legumes, dried fruit, whole grains.
Ingredients: Water, Colloidal Zinc, Potassium Sorbate (as a preservative).
How to use: Use 20 to 100 drops a day (10 drops = 1 ml) dividing, if possible, the intake 3/4 times throughout the day.
